Goodnight Tiger

Spent the afternoon tidying up the typography I’d proposed originally for Goodnight Tiger, as this was the girls’ favourite option. The type needed to be vectorised and have all the curves cleaned up.

Tiger type

Working on some branding actions for Goodnight Tiger… This is one of the things I’ve been hacking around with in photoshop. I haven’t gone to the effort of vectorising it yet. If it reminds anyone of an existing logo tell me. Music is such a subjective thing, I’m not sure how I feel about this – I think I’ve been looking at it for too long. Either that or I’m just not sold.

It’s nice to have a local

Sheesh, I had a blogless phase of almost a week. And what a week! I should try and recall what I did. Probably not a whole lot.

I did manage to catch a few Goodnight Tiger gigs though.

Getting indie at the Indi Bar

Thought I’d continue the trend of evening outings and head down to see the acoustic duo of Jill Chrisp and Perrin Date, Goodnight Tiger, play at the Indi Bar earlier tonight. I’m so glad I did. I think it was the highlight of my week’s evening adventures. These girls are so talented and beautiful, and always a pleasure to listen to.

Apart from being immersed in music I enjoy, which seems few and far between in Perth bars/clubs, the good company was partnered by free secondary entertainment in the form of a very drunk, blonde girl with distinctively bogan inflections. Read the rest of this entry →
