Tales of Thailand

As some of you may know, for the past 10 or so days I’ve been in Thailand. A handful of ex and current Interzone employees made the venture over to Bangkok for Nick and Heidi’s wedding last weekend. And by wedding I mean Lustral Ceremony.

It all went smoothly and I’m sure Nick and Heidi will enjoy sorting through the million or so photos taken by their paparazzi crew. I haven’t been to a wedding before but it felt like a disco with the strobelight consistency of flashes. That’s normal, right? Post-Snapshot, Thailand Tues and to-dos

+1 thanks to everyone for attending the Snapshot exhibition, it went down a treat. Opening night was brilliant and the whole thing was a great experience. I hope to do more painty paint in the future, even if it still doesn’t involve any real paint.

We took the exhibition down this evening and I’ll be proceeding to disperse purchased works over the weekend. There were a few intrinsic pieces that I didn’t expect (or create) to sell, one of which being Wiggle which I’m glad to retain. Many lols and fond memories. Hmmm… I should really Youtubify the wiggle videos…

In other news I’ve booked my Thailand flights and will be getting my sweat on as of next Tuesday (12th), returning the morning of Saturday 22nd after Bangkok and Chiang Mai adventures. Including an appearance at Nick and Heidi’s wedding ;) Read the rest of this entry →
