Industrial interior
Haven’t done an interior in forever. Just some typical videogame environment. As you may have guessed I’m quite fond of Valve’s games (and their aesthetic).
Plus a WIP as requested. Read the rest of this entry →

The Summer exhibition opening is tomorrow (Tuesday)!!
I’m ready! Today I printed, guillotined, or otherwise sliced the artwork tags and signage bits and pieces for tomorrow.
Tomorrow that arrow will point to the exhibition info-card, so come along and receive your free info-card because as the text suggests; it was made specifically for you.
Not that guy, just you. That other guy’s got his mits all over the shop. You, on the other hand… Well, I quite like you.
Last Friday at the Beyond Motion office a bunch of ex-coworkers joined our prototyping crew of 4 for a festive beer o’clock. Read the rest of this entry →
I did an interview with the Forks Open Doors duo for Xpress this week, you can view it online here. I’m not very eloquent in this interview, possibly due to post-lunch-eating-drowsiness. It’s a pretty great writeup, though – Emma’s writing skills are good. And stuff. How’s that for eloquent?

Unfortunately I blocked this in so quickly I forgot to save the base sketch (scribbly linework), but here’s a WIP animation showing the painting in progress:
As a sidenote to anyone who might save animated .gif’s for web in the future: Making the bottom section of this image transparent instead of white for the first 5 frames (before it was painted) lopped off about 40kb on a 150kb file. That kind of surprised me.
I designed this poster for the Team Fortress 2 demoman vs soldier propaganda contest. Just something pretty simple with limited colours.
I was gonna add text (taglines) but decided to keep it visual.
I also submitted a version with this logo at the top:
