Near Balhana – John Lacey

I saw one of John Lacey‘s paintings at the Hale Art Exhibition and really like his technique and colour usage. Hale Art Exhibition Visit

I went along to the exhibition opening tonight and had a stroll around. Some very nice work there! I got a thrill from seeing a very astute looking man pointing out 2 of my artworks to his wife as I walked past.

I came back later on to notice 2 women oggling the Japan Street picture, which was now sold… To one of those two women, I soon found out.

I marked about 8 artists in my catalogue whose work/technique I really liked, and have had a brief trawl for their websites. It’s interesting to see how artists structure their websites. Most have a list of awards and exhibitions. I think I need to create a webby specifically for digital painting, working under the guise of Cognition Designs is a bit 2006. I redeisigned that site for the last exhibition, maybe I’ll make a new one for the next…
